The project aims to conduct a baseline survey of endangered manatees and their habitat. Caryn Self-Sullivan, Katherine LaCommare will find how manatees affect the seagrass beds they feed on, and how they divide their time among traveling, feeding, resting, and socializing.

Sea turtles of Baja

The project aims to track the habits of Baja California's black sea turtles to save them form local extinction. Dr. Jeffrey Seminoff, T. Todd Jones and his project team are documenting black turtle movements, habitat use, driving behavior, and energy requirements.
