A constitutive model for powder materials
Article Abstract:
An innovative methodology was utilized to devise the elastic/viscoplastic model which can be used for compressible materials such as powder. The procedure, which was based on triaxial tests, helped in determining the elastic parameter, yield function, viscoplastic potential and viscosity coefficient of the powder material. The procedure yielded a model which can describe the elastic behavior, shape of yield surface and strain rate orientation tensor and can be used in testing other compressible materials.

On the limit of surface integrity of alumina by ductile-mode grinding
Article Abstract:
Results reveal that surface quality of the ground alumina is influenced by the initial microstructure of the material. Data further show that the distribution of fractured area on the ductile-mode ground alumina depends both on the grinding conditions and the bulk material pore size.
