Students with Disabilities Launch Careers in Science and Engineering
Article Abstract:
The American Association for the Advancement of Science has helped a number of science and technology students with disabilities. The AAAS Entry Point! program supplies summer internships and, once the students graduate, placement services are provided. The program is especially significant in light of the fact that some 75% of Americans with severe disabilities are unemployed.
