Is extended producer responsibility effective?
Article Abstract:
The policy option of extended producer responsibility for waste management requires producers to be physically and financially responsible for their products that have outlived its shelf life. The practice is speedily being utilized and at the same time gaining popularity and acceptance in Asia and Europe although its effectivity is still hotly debated.
