The strawberry plant has been used all around the globe for medicinal reasons and are a rich source of nutrition, including calcium, vitamin C and other organic acids. The plant's leaves can also be dried and used to make tea. In various countries, the plant has been used to treat peridontal disease, thrush and for blood purification.
