Keeping vaccines cold: travails of immunizing the world's children

The World Health Organization uses what is known as a cold chain to refrigerate and deliver vaccines to foreign countries. The use of chemical monitors to check the freshness of vaccines and the use of heat-stable, dried vaccines may make the delivery of vaccines easier.
