Time-lapse video applications for construction project management
Article Abstract:
The use of time-lapse photography as a tool for analyzing construction operations was evaluated. The compression of information, such as lengthy operations which could be viewed in shorter periods of time, is one advantage of the time-lapse video. However, the study of the technology failed to take account of several factors. These are the role of previous research in time-lapse photography and related areas, the extraction of data from time-lapse videos and the role of case studies in supporting the objective of the study.

Construction automation: demands and satisfiers in the United States and Japan
Article Abstract:
A study on construction automation is evaluated. The study called on the need to promote construction automation and robotics in the US. However, it is argued that the study failed to substantiate claims that construction automation demand in the US is weak and that the government is hesitant to support robotics and automation. Robotics projects supported by the government are described.
