Molding with metal
Article Abstract:
The Metal injection molding (MIM) technique utilizes powder metallurgy to develop thick plastic sections such as 0.75 mm diameter axle pins and some thick thermoplastic sections beyond the reach of existing techniques. The application for an innovative surgical device, Procision System, that was developed by Gyrus Medical (Wales, UK) is discussed.
