Nestling blood of the white-tailed sea eagle (Haliaeetus albicilla) as an indicator of territorial exposure to organohalogen compounds-an evaluation
Article Abstract:
Researchers from Sweden analyzed the blood of the white-tailed sea eagle (Haliaeetus albicilla) nestling to monitor levels of organohalogen substances (OHS) in the environment, determine regional differences in OHS levels and rate the success of eagle reproduction in the Swedish Baltic coast.
