Dew drop in: insects that stop to rest on the sundew's leaves soon find themselves in a sticky situation
Article Abstract:
The sundew is the most common carnivorous plant in North America. It captures insects through its dew-like liquid on tiny hairs on its leaves. The liquid is a combination of adhesives and enzymes which prevent the insect from escaping. Later, the leaf curls inward to digest its victim.

Battle of the sexes
Article Abstract:
Water striders are spidery-looking bugs which skitter about the surface of lakes, streams or ponds. They awaken from their winter hibernation during early spring and, apart from foraging for food, search for mates. Their mating habits involve no fancy rituals and are rather turbulent.
