Public research/industry relationships: efficiency conditions in current innovation
Article Abstract:
Public Research/Industry relationships were studied to analyze the efficiency of responses to industrial needs. Thirty two cases of partnerships between large and small French firms and public research laboratories were evaluated. Principal component analysis was used to characterize various strategic contexts of partnerships. The results showed that the efficiency of relationships depends a great deal on the nature of innovation and the organizational context in which the change took place.
