Bioinorganic chemistry of bismuth and antimony: Target sites of metallodrugs
Article Abstract:
The biocoordination chemistry of antimony and bismuth is examined due to their use in medicine. Newly developed methods might help in establishing the molecular mechanisms underlying the antimicrobial activities of bismuth and antimony in an efficient way and will help in designing better metallodrugs and novel agents for other therapeutic purposes.
