Article Abstract:
Climate modeler Jeffrey Kiehl and his colleagues Richard Knight, George Kukla and Joyce Gavin have found evidence suggesting that aerosol pollution has acted to cool summer temperatures over North Europe, eastern Asia and Europe since 1950.

Pinatubo global cooling on target
Article Abstract:
Climate researcher Jim Hensen used a computer model to accurately predict the degree of global cooling caused by the eruption of the volcano Pinatubo. The model predicted that the cooling effect would be apparent in the last half of 1992.

Ozone takes a nose dive after the eruption of Mt. Pinatubo
Article Abstract:
Research has discovered that by late 1992 and early 1993 global ozone was 4% below typical levels in the preceding 12 years. Researchers blame the 1991 eruption of Mt Pinatubo for the change.
