Superimposing ultrasonic waves on the dies in tube and wire drawing
Article Abstract:
The study reveals that superimposing ultrasonic waves compared to traditional tube and wire drawing can extend the forming process limits. The analysis focuses on separating the ultrasonic effect on the surface from the volume effects.

A simple analogous model for the determination of cyclic plasticity parameters of thin wires to model wire drawing
Article Abstract:
A report on an approach to determine the cyclic plasticity parameters by compression test for wires before and after they are drawn using a simple analogous model, which is cost- and time-saving, is presented.

Optimal blank design of arbitrary shapes by the sensitivity method
Article Abstract:
Shape sensitivity is derived from explicit analysis code PAM-STAMP. The results of this experiment demonstrate the sensitivity method to be very effective in the design of arbitrary shaped drawing processes.
