Synthesis and functionalization of a mesoporous silica nanoparticle based on the sol-gel process and applications is controlled release
Article Abstract:
A synthetic approach to obtain functional mesoporous silica nanoparticles (MSNs) and the henceforth-controlled release and biological relevant applications are described. It is thus possible to synthesize functionalized MSNs with control over particles and pore morphology and degree of functionalization.

Chemical routes in the synthesis of nanomaterials using the sol-gel process
Article Abstract:
The sol-gel process is useful in synthesis of nanoporous oxides and organic-inorganic nanohybrids as well as core-shell nanostructures. The methods of processing various oxide matrices is discussed.
