Article Abstract:
The Y2K problem results from concerns about how technology-deficient software will affect computer networks once the year 2000 begins. Various industries show different levels of coping with the computer problems that might result from the software's inability to recognize 2000 from 1900. Energy providers have been slow to comply with developed plans, while the health care industry's efforts have been less efficient..
