The birth and death of Nova V1974 Cygni
Article Abstract:
The nova V1974 Cygni, which was first observed on Feb 19, 1992, shed new light on the astrophysics of nova systems. The observational data on V1974 Cygni confirmed existing theories on the CNO nuclear reactions of novae, but other data, such as that on matter emission, forced changes in theories.

The timing of birth
Article Abstract:
Researchers have found that the timing of delivery in humans is determined by how much corticotropin-releasing hormone is secreted by the placenta into the maternal and fetal circulations. By controlling the release of this protein, doctors can prevent spontaneous premature labor.
