The early evolution of animals
Article Abstract:
Two deposits in China have preserved the remains of soft-bodied animals, which provide new information about early evolution. In the year 2004, experts discovered the oldest known bilaterian animal in rocks collected from the 580-million-to 600-million-yeas-old Doushantuo Formation, near Weng'an.

Article Abstract:
The evolution of pathogens into harmful or benign states is affected by human behavior. Policymakers should consider evolutionary factors when developing health policies. Scientists may be able to force pathogens to evolve into benign forms and reduce the virulence of HIV and HTLV-1.
