The great migration: why African-Americans moved out of the South
Article Abstract:
The reasons for substantial migrations of the African Americans from the South to the North are presented. The industrialization in the South made African Americans dominated occupations obsolete and the export of cheap goods from the North eliminated local firms leaving them unemployed.

The US Census Bureau predicts that the US will have a population of 350 million people by 2050. Eighty million of them will be immigrants from other countries. The agency also predicts that by 2050, whites will constitute only 53% of the entire US population.

The geography of death
Article Abstract:
Research concerning the mapping of 9.3 million deaths of white Americans between 1988 and 1992 is presented. Although 2,000 causes of death were recorded, 35% of all deaths were caused by lung cancer, stroke and heart disease.
