The science of smart growth
Article Abstract:
Cities that have allowed their growth to spiral out of control face criticism for their lack of planning and choices for residents. The greatest complaints are the traffic that is created and the garages that face the street, making the area seem less friendly and inviting. Changes to the growth process and thoughts on the entire process are examined.
