Tritium and radiocarbon dating of Canada Basin deep waters
Article Abstract:
Tritium radiocarbon dating calculations puts the Canada Basin's age at 500 years old. This part of the Arctic Ocean actually contains two disconnected basins. It is difficult to determine where elements such as carbon are produced and introduced into these deep waters.

Miocene deposits in the Amazonia foreland basin
Article Abstract:
A study that described late Miocene sediments in Acre, Brazil as tidal and caused by a southern Atlantic connection is challenged. Previous research indicates that the sediments are fluvial in origin and probably were deposited by the precursor of the Amazon River.

Neptune's deep chemistry
Article Abstract:
Astrophysical research findings suggest some of the planet Neptune's atmosphere may have come from below a methane-rich ocean which might cover the planet. Methane in Neptune's atmosphere may be produced by a quenched reaction inside the planet.
