Y chromosome shows that Adam was an African
Article Abstract:
Researchers have uncovered a genetic trail tracing the existence of the first ancestral male to the same location of 'mitochondrial Eve,' the woman ancestral to all humans who lived in Africa 100,000 to 200,000 years ago. The findings add to previous evidence of Africa as the birthplace of modern humans.
