Article Abstract:
The report of the Institute of Personnel and Development in UK outlines the real benefits of investments in training and suggests methods to develop cooperation between human resource development personnels and line managers. Investments in training positively serve the organizations by developing the technical and common knowledge of their employees, which ultimately results in their efficient functioning. The report identifies two benefits of investments in training: pay-back and pay-forward. But the companies fail to effectively support strategic analysis and policy formulation.

Article Abstract:
More people are motivated to pursue a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) to protect their current jobs rather than to diversify their careers. MBA degrees help to gain positions in senior management and board levels, and are financially rewarding. Employers are recognizing MBA degrees as additional expertise. Organizations are sponsoring employees for MBA qualification as a professional development strategy. Details of a survey on MBA graduates and their results are presented.
