World's largest constructed marsh begins cleansing everglades
Article Abstract:
The storm-water treatment area 3/4 (STA 3/4), which is 16,500 acres large, is designed to remove a significant proportion of the pollutants in runoff before the latter enters the Everglades. The benefits and achievements of the marsh are discussed.
