The complex issues of sexual harassment
Article Abstract:
Many people are unable to affirm their sexuality because of past experiences in which it has been violated by others. The effect of these violations can be insidious and last a whole lifetime. Sexual harassment must clearly be tackled, but there is also a danger that political correctness about sexual harassment can go too far. It is important to name and talk publicly about sexual harassment, recognizing that it cannot ever be tolerated in any form. Adults and young people must be encouraged to understand concepts of consent and boundaries.
