Dependency, resource depth and supplier performance during industry downturn
Article Abstract:
The performance of suppliers from telecommunications industry during an industry downturn is studied. The way a supplier is integrated into the business network affects the supplier's performance. If the supplier independently carries out research and development, its technological depth increases correspondingly which contributes positively to supplier's performance and strong bargaining power.
