Article Abstract:
The institutional frameworks structure distinctive strategies and organisational capabilities of firms are examined in a more precise manner by focusing on the characteristics of different sub-sectors. The analysis demonstrates that European economies can perform well in emerging technology industries such as biotechnology and software.
