Sexuality and spirituality: the relevance of eastern traditions
Article Abstract:
Eastern beliefs on sexuality and spirituality can benefit Western society by teaching the importance of creating balance in life and harmony with nature. Christianity, which dominates Western thought, views sexuality and spirituality as opposing each other. Eastern beliefs such as Hinduism, Taoism and Buddhism, on the other hand, regard sexuality and spirituality as interrelated. They view sexuality as part of human nature and as a means to achieve union with God. By complementing Western life with this Eastern view, the West may improve itself and create a balanced world.

Sexuality and study commissions in churches and synagogues
Article Abstract:
The prevalent focus on sex-related issues in the 1990s needs to be addressed by both Christian and Jewish religions in a way that leads their followers to a better understanding of sexuality and its relation with spirituality. Religious groups that set out to study these issues must interrelate sexuality with spirituality. It is important for religious bodies to come to terms with sexuality and its role in spirituality so they can help their followers integrate both into their lives harmoniously.
