The effect of family size on incentive effects of welfare transfers in two-parent families: An evaluation using experimental data
Article Abstract:
The effects of waiving the 100-hour rule by family size and distinguishing between 'work-incentive and eligibility effects' of the waiver is studied using data from the Link-Up randomized experiment conducted in California's Central Valley. The findings show that the work-incentive and not the eligibility effect of the waiver differs by family size.
