Public research and industrial innovations in Germany
Article Abstract:
A survey of 2300 companies in the German manufacturing sector confirmed the positive impact of public research on industrial innovations. This result thus validated the process of technology transfer from the research institution to the industrial company. The colocation of companies involved with high technology or industrial research and funding institutions was not important in the case of Germany.
