Unilieal descent organization and deep christianization: a cross-cultural comparison
Article Abstract:
The usual variables that are regarded as the main causes of decline of unilineal descent organization, along with a variable that has never been regarded as such a cause, are studied. It is found that the traditionally accepted causes of the decline of unilineal descent organization are less significant than deep christianization and the presence of unilineal democracy correlates negatively with communal democracy.
