This article focuses on the characteristics of a mercenary criminal in Russia. Mercenary crime is a serious problem in Russia, and the author maintains that the people attracted to this way of life are often young, motivated by money, poorly educated, and have connections with someone already involved in a crime ring.

The illegal drug trade
Article Abstract:
Crimes of illegal drug trafficking, including drug addiction, in Russia is increasing. The author maintains that the involvement of minors, mostly drug abusers, is very high, consisting of over 50%, and the problem is becoming a serious health issue.

Tendencies of female crime in the Tiumen region
Article Abstract:
Prisons and penal colonies of Russia have about 50,000 women. The reasons to foster growth of criminal involvement could be attributed to low cultural awareness and high percentage of people addicted to alcohol and narcotics.
