Deflecting negative self-relevant stereotype activation: the effects of individuation
Article Abstract:
A research was conducted to find the effect of individuation on the test performance of stereotype-activated individuals by examining the performance of Caucasian female on a quantitative test under various conditions. The study revealed that individuation and not self-affirmation was related to performance of participants in the individuation condition.

Adjusting researchers' approach to adjustment: on the use of covariates when testing interactions
Article Abstract:
The simulations showing the factors affecting the magnitude of the bias are presented and a survey of social psychological literature illustrating the frequency of the problem is presented. The cases where the interactions between independent variables are manipulated and the covariate is a potential mediator are discussed.
