DVD sound: shhh! Bang! Boom!
Article Abstract:
The dynamic range of DVDs make the sound effects a lot louder than the Sound effects are a lot louder than movie conversations on DVD because of the dynamic range of DVDs. The lack of surround sound systems or its bad set up also complicate the problem. Down-sampling surround sound into stereo could help solve this problem.
