Depression vulnerability, cigarette smoking, and the serotonin transporter gene
Article Abstract:
Attempts are made to understand the depression, vulnerability, cigarette smoking and the serotonin transporter gene behavior. The study examined if the people with a short serotonin transporter genotype would likewise show a stronger relationship between depression vulnerability and smoking behavior than those with the long genotype.

A psychometric evaluation of the Fagerstrom Test for Nicotine dependence in PTSD smokers
Article Abstract:
The reliability, validity and factor structure of the Fagerstrom Test for Nicotine Dependence (FTND) in psychiatric smokers are examined. Results reveal that the FTND had good test-retest reliability, convergent validity and discriminant validity.
