Endogenous development in the era of reflexive modernity
Article Abstract:
The concepts of reflexive modernity and endogenous development are used to explore innovative ways to think about rural development. Reflexive modernity refers to the ways in which identity is defined outside of the traditionally inherited values of modernity. Endogenous development encourages participation of local people, and utilization of local resources, in territorial development.
