A week-long refurbishing of Katrina-damaged public housing units by volunteers and private citizens from January 29, 2007 to February 2, 2007 is described. A day-by-day commentary is provided on the efforts of the people who gathered in Long Beach, Mississippi and helped reroof buildings in the area.
