Guatemala's current and future globalization: Social work's continuing education role
Article Abstract:
Effect of globalization and tourism on Guatemala and initiatives taken by international social work to address educational needs of natives to support the transition into modern world is examined. The foundations of social work education and locally-specific self-determination are very important in the practice of international social work.

Mental health and citizenship in Malaysia
Article Abstract:
Issues regarding the social rights of the mentally ill in Malaysia are discussed. A framework in which the country can better meet its contractual obligations to its mentally ill citizens is given, and the argument is supported with research on mental health in Sarawak.
