Institutional case management applied to acute psychiatric care in correctional mental health
Article Abstract:
A case management model that the Florida Dept of Corrections Correctional Mental Health Institute (CMHI) developed to improve care for acute psychiatric inmates is presented. Findings that the new approach has reduced length of stay by almost 27% are discussed. Case studies are included.
