Defining variables in relationship to other variables: when interactions suddenly turn out to be main effects
Article Abstract:

This study indicates that relational definitions of variables in experiments lead to theoretical confusion and confounding of the main and interactive effects.

Intergroup perception in the social context: the effects of social status and group membership on perceived out-group homogeneity and ethnocentrism
Article Abstract:
This study investigates the effects of social status on intergroup perception. Results indicate that both high and low status groups demonstrated an out-group homogeneity bias, or the perception that the out-group is less diverse, while low-status groups demonstrated a more pronounced ethnocentrism bias, or a perception of in-group superiority.
