Article Abstract:
Videogame music is taking center stage in symphony halls with "Video Games Live" and "Play! A Videogame Symphony". These competing shows feature music from arcade, computer and console titles which were arranged to be performed by an orchestra and a choir. Other features of the shows, and their success are discussed.

Video games have evolved from representing life to becoming life. The gaming mindset has become pervasive in everyday life that people use game models to motivate ourselves and find creative solutions to the point that life itself starts to look like a game.
