Predictive value of aspects of the Transtheoretical Model on smoking cessation in a community-based, large-group cognitive behavioral program
Article Abstract:
The Transtheoretical Model was evaluated for its value in predicting the success of a cognitive behavioral smoking cessation program. The study 2069 participants between the years 1992 and 1999 showed that Transtheorectical Model variables did not predict the success of a program participant.
