Predictors of current need to smoke in inmates of a smoke-free jail
Article Abstract:
A study is conducted to analyze the independent contributions of smoking variables including demographic, smoking history, length of time incarcerated, and future intention to smoke upon release with current need to smoke in jail inmates. The results revealed that the stated future intention to smoke among jail inmates is based on the current need to smoke and not the length of time in jail.
