Pregnancy prevention from the teen perspective
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted on teenagers' perceptions of the factors that contribute to adolescent pregnancy and the measures that can be taken to prevent early pregnancy. The findings indicate that lack of knowledge and accessibility to contraceptives and unfulfilled emotional needs are important factors in teen pregnancy. These results provide important implications for service delivery in the social work sector.
