Regions of risk: western discourses on terrorism and the significance of Islam
Article Abstract:
It is believed that the face of terrorism has changed manifolds and the activities have become more lethal now. It is argued that tropicality, development, and vulnerability form part of one and the same essentializing and generalizing cultural discourse with terrorism that historically denigrates large regions of the world.
