Role of perception among social workers living in politically uncertain areas
Article Abstract:
Uncertainties associated with political instability have been found to create a profound impact on the attitude and behavior of social workers and residents. A study involving social workers in the Golan Heights and Judea/Samaria in 1995 revealed that the prevalence of alarming political issues tends to generate feelings of anxiety on the part of social workers. Generally, social workers encountered performance difficulties in fulfilling their duties when confronted with political issues.
