Generalization of delayed matching to sample following training at different delays
Article Abstract:
This study examines the behavior of pigeons trained to perform a matching task to investigate the effect of time delays on memory and performance. Findings indicate that pigeons can be trained to perform the task at specific delay lengths, but that stimulus generalization may contribute to reductions in accuracy associated with longer delays.

The effect of reinforcer delays on the form of the forgetting function
Article Abstract:
Research on pigeon behavior suggests a relationship between retention interval and reinforcer delay effects. Studies showed that the rate of forgetting, or the fitted functions slope, rose with reinforcer delay.

Seasonal variation in pigeon body weight and delayed matching-to-sample performance
Article Abstract:
The study examines the seasonal variation in the body weight of pigeons and delayed matching-to-sample performance. The results confirm the hypothesis and stress on the importance of conducting replications across subjects to examine the potential order effects.
