Secularization and the religious audience: a study of Mormons and Las Vegas media
Article Abstract:
A study was done to analyze secularization hypothesis based on Mormons community of Las Vegas and the development of media environment, as the teachings of the community opposed the culture of Las Vegas. The study revealed that Mormons defended themselves on religious ground where they mentally separated themselves from Las Vegas culture or conceptualize media as a way to achieve religious goals.

Who wants to censor pornography and hate speech?
Article Abstract:
The contours of public opinion about censorship of hate speech and pornography is researched. The relationship of attitudes about pornography and hate speech to a variety of demographic, psychological, and socio-political variables is examined, and their similarities and differences are explored.

New media use, sociodemographics, and voter turnout in the 2000 presidential election
Article Abstract:
The study uses logit models to explain the effects of new media use and sociodemographic characteristics on voter turnout during the 2000 presidential election. Results indicate that sociodemograhic characteristics are stronger predictors of voter turnout than their new media use behavior.
