Shifts in the psychometric function and their implications for models of timing
Article Abstract:
Experiments were conducted to form models for animal timing, including how animals time events, and how animals learn to regulate their behavior in time. Researchers found fault with scalar expectancy theory, incorrect assumptions concerning the conceptualization of animal memory and of the animal learning process.

Preference and resistance to change with constant-duration schedule components
Article Abstract:
Researchers evaluate pigeons' preference and resistence to change as effected by varying intervals of food reinforcement. Constant-duration, rather than variable-duration reinforcement, increased pigeons' sensitivity to both preference and resistance.
