Smoking behavior and interest in quitting among homeless workers
Article Abstract:
Cross-sectional survey of ninety-eight homeless smokers was conducted for studying their smoking behavior and the influence of the self-reported tobacco-related health problems on their willingness to quit and opt for smoking cessation counseling. The health problems associated with tobacco, confidence in their ability to quit tobacco and having social support could have been responsible for the readiness of the homeless workers to quit tobacco and receive assistance in quitting smoking.
